Chloe Obrian has been placed in charge of CTU. That has to be the most surprising and exciting event on “24″ I’ve seen in a long time. Now I’m angry 24 is to be canceled. Give Chloe a chance!

Chloe Obrian as director of CTU. Chloe’s relationship with Jack Bauer has been stormy but in recent years they have grown close and their loyalty to each other has increased dramatically.  How is Jack going to react to Chloe becoming CTU director? What will he do when he has to break the rules as he often does. Now Chloe “is the man” so to speak.

She has been thrown right into the fire with people already dieing 1 minute into her watch.

Here is a quote from Kiefer Sutherland about Chloe. “Kiefer Sutherland commented “Chloe is crankier than ever; the dammit count is pretty high.”

To look back over the seasons through the years, Chloe Obrian has worked her way up from being a nuisance to Jack Bauer to almost his equal. As a matter of fact, If Jack continues to work for CTU, Chloe Obrian has now become his boss. Yes that’s right. Chloe Obrian is now Jack Bauer’s  boss!

OMG!! Renee Walker has been shot. She is going to die. Look at Chloe go into action!! She has cleared the way for Renee’s treatment and immediately starts looking for the assassin. Ahh nooo. Renee Walker is dead. Those bastards killed Renee! Jack is going to go ballistic!

As happy as we are that Chloe is in charge, we are equally angered at the writers for killing off Rene. That just sucks! I think when a character gets killed off, a writer should be fired. That should be the new rule. Whomever comes up with the idea of eliminating a character should be willing to sacrifice his job in exchange.
