I’ve given up on the new seasonof 24. Instead I’ll just watch Season 6 again. Much more entertaining than this seasons fare. Jack is letting me down and I think the writers must be getting bored with it all because it shows in the script. There just isn’t any intensity or action like in previous episodes. Besides it’s more fun to watch the episodes commercial-free when they are released as a set.

Is it just me or does the new season of 24 seem a bit boring and predictable? So far the current season is nowhere as exciting as season 6 and other past seasons. I think the writers have run out of blockbuster scenarios. Who can forget Jack and the mortally wounded agent flying a nuclear bomb away from L.A. and dumping it over the ocean just after jack bails out and lands behind a mountain that shields him from the blast.

I don’t think the viewers care as much if a foreign leader is about to be assassinated as opposed to a direct threat to the people from nuclear or chemical attack. I don’t really care to dwell on Renee’s mental break down do you? Maybe they are running low on money or the writers are just worn out.

Jazz it up guys. You are boring us. I’m already skipping episodes and watching previous episodes on DVD like Season 6. Maybe you could tie the show in to more recent conspiracies like governments secretly preparing for 2012 disasters or the Illuminati and other world groups trying to take over the world. Give us something more interesting than the same old Washington espionage and politics. Where’s the beef…I mean action? Maybe it’s time to kill Jack Bauer.
