There is no way that they killed Renee tonight on 24. Please tell us it’s not true! Surely they did not kill her like this without a fight. I and others will be very disappointed if Renee’s demise is so un-dramatic. We want to see Renee go down in a hail of gun fire protecting Jack Bauer or even the president. Not snipered while in a sheet walking from the bedroom. Who the hell is responsible for writing that?

The show will suffer from not having the beautiful Annie Wersching gracing each episode. Poor Jack. He can’t get a break with the women. One after the other they die in his arms or go wacky as you know who.

“Renee is headstrong and independent, and has been shown to disobey orders or push the limits of the law when she believes such actions are necessary. Throughout Day 7, she takes in what Jack Bauer does and gradually becomes more rogue and puts justice before the job.”

Now in season 8 Renee is killed off. Doesn’t make sense. If it had to happen a much more dramatic event should have been written in. Everyone is speculating she isn’t really dead but we think she is. A shot to the chest – yes she is gone. Now we suspect Chloe Obrian will be murdered next. This is the last season of 24 so we can expect much more bizarre decisions by the producer and writers.

Chloe Obrian has been placed in charge of CTU. That has to be the most surprising and exciting event on “24″ I’ve seen in a long time. Now I’m angry 24 is to be canceled. Give Chloe a chance!

Chloe Obrian as director of CTU. Chloe’s relationship with Jack Bauer has been stormy but in recent years they have grown close and their loyalty to each other has increased dramatically.  How is Jack going to react to Chloe becoming CTU director? What will he do when he has to break the rules as he often does. Now Chloe “is the man” so to speak.

She has been thrown right into the fire with people already dieing 1 minute into her watch.

Here is a quote from Kiefer Sutherland about Chloe. “Kiefer Sutherland commented “Chloe is crankier than ever; the dammit count is pretty high.”

To look back over the seasons through the years, Chloe Obrian has worked her way up from being a nuisance to Jack Bauer to almost his equal. As a matter of fact, If Jack continues to work for CTU, Chloe Obrian has now become his boss. Yes that’s right. Chloe Obrian is now Jack Bauer’s  boss!

OMG!! Renee Walker has been shot. She is going to die. Look at Chloe go into action!! She has cleared the way for Renee’s treatment and immediately starts looking for the assassin. Ahh nooo. Renee Walker is dead. Those bastards killed Renee! Jack is going to go ballistic!

As happy as we are that Chloe is in charge, we are equally angered at the writers for killing off Rene. That just sucks! I think when a character gets killed off, a writer should be fired. That should be the new rule. Whomever comes up with the idea of eliminating a character should be willing to sacrifice his job in exchange.

Good-bye Renee Walker.

Well jack almost bought it tonight on 24. Good thing he had his vest on. You know the terrorists could have ended  it all if they would have aimed for his head. That shootout was a bit lame.  Why is it that the security people assigned to CTU are so dumb? They never listen to Jack and get themselves killed. I guess someone has to die. So let’s kill off those extras.

And did you see Chloe? She pulled a weapon and demanded to be allowed to take a shortcut to getting CTU back online. I like it when Chloe goes postal. She is meek and mild until she has to get nasty to get what she wants. It reminds me of a scene in Season 6 when she was kidnapped and ended up taking out the terrorists herself. Kick-Ass Chloe.
